The Modern Rose & Nature’s Wonder
Building A Healthy Organic Soil

There is an ever-growing awareness with rosarians today of the benefit in managing good healthy organic soil structures and Nature’s Wonder has proven to do just that. Roses benefit like all other plants from an abundance of organic nutrients held in the soil by billions of microorganisms cycling these nutrients to the plant’s root system.

Nature’s Wonder has been tested at leading Universities and Institutions around the world it has been proven that combining an organic program with Nature’s Wonder will support a growing
population of microorganisms that will continue to bring nutrients to the plants root system, retain more moisture in the soil, reduce fertilizer applications, and build a stronger and healthier rose.

The first thing one must understand about growing roses organically, is there are billions of microorganisms in the soil that break down the organic matter making it nutrient available to the
plant. This community of billions of microorganisms is referred to as the Soil Food Web, nutrients
cycled in the food web is done so by a predator prey relationship.

Conclusion

The importance of good organic matter in the soil is to provide a food source for the population of microorganisms living within the soil. This in turn increases the entire population of Microorganisms. It is this continuation of nutrient cycling in the soil that builds a healthier and stronger population of
microorganisms that will hold greater levels of nutrients and moisture in the soil.

Plant roots will take in nutrients from the surrounding area of its root zone and from the attached mycorrhiza fungi. During photosynthesis the plant begins to metabolizes these nutrients and creates long-chain molecules and builds new cells. Some of these long-chain molecules will not be beneficial and are called Free Radicals. These molecules can not be used in the cell building process, and stay within the plant bouncing around inside the cell walls damaging cell tissue and creating plant stress which slows down the photosynthesis process.

Nature’s Wonder assists the plant in defense against these free radicals by building higher levels of vitamins within the plant called antioxidants. These antioxidants grab the free radical molecules and render them ineffective for the destruction of the plant and the plants’ photosynthesis process.
